Welcome to the website from the Arizona Animal Control Association (AZACA).

AZACA goal is to promote and improve the Animal Control profession and the wellbeing of the public and their animals, and to bring all agencies throughout Arizona together for training and updates associated with animal care and control enforcement risk and danger associated with the animal control profession. Officer Safety is our priority when dealing with aggressive and dangerous behavior from both animals and humans.

Association objectives shall be to develop and initiate training, standardize and coordinate duties for deputy enforcement agents and their employers; review and recommend necessary changes in legislation and ordinances affecting rabies/animal control; provide information to the general public on responsible pet ownership; promote spay/neuter and adoption; and educate the medical community regarding pre- and post-exposure rabies prophylaxis.
